Coach Intro

I grew up in a house with 3 older brothers who all played sports so it was in a pretty competitive environment. I also cheered and tumbled while growing up and through high school. When I graduated high school I missed the competitiveness and community of a sports team, so when I was introduced to CrossFit my freshman year, I fell in love with the people and the sport. My first coach would push me to do things I never thought I'd be able to do and we would all cheer each other on and celebrate big wins. So that's why I coach, to push people and watch them succeed, and to celebrate them when they do. It's always fun watching somebody hit a new PR or master a new movement.

Turning Point

I always struggled with body image, especially as a cheerleader where image often felt like everything. But coming into CrossFit, my goal became less about getting smaller and more about getting stronger. This sport has helped me feel more confident and I am thankful for it!

Motivation & Passion

My purpose for coaching is to be like the coach who inspired me. Someone who pushes people to do more than they think they can and celebrates them every step of the way. I want to help people reach their goals, discover their strength, and realize that they are more capable than they believe.
